What is Gay-Lussac's law ?

Gay-Lussac's law is an experimental gas law that relates to the pressure and temperature of a fixed mass of a gas approaching an ideal gas when the volume is held constant. This law, also known as the pressure-temperature law, is named after scientist Joseph Louis Gay-Lussac, who first discovered it.

The law in modern formulas states that when the volume over a gas sample remains constant, the Kelvin temperature and pressure will be directly proportional.
