Chebyshev Pi LC Low Pass Filter Calculator

1) The Chebyshev filter is a filter whose frequency response amplitude fluctuates in the passband or stopband (flat passband, ripples in the stopband, or flat stopband, ripples in the passband). The amplitude characteristics are in the passband. Inside are equal ripples.

2) The Chebyshev filter attenuates faster than the Butterworth filter in the transition band, but the amplitude-frequency characteristics of the frequency response are not as flat as the latter.

3) The error between the frequency response curves of the Chebyshev filter and the ideal filter is minimal, but there are amplitude fluctuations in the passband.

4) A filter with ripple fluctuations in frequency response amplitude in the passband (or "passband") is called an "I-type Chebyshev filter", and a frequency response amplitude in the stopband (or "stopband") The filter with equal ripple fluctuations is called "Type II Chebyshev filter"
